What is Respite Care?

Respite care is a short-term support service that provides temporary relief for parents and caregivers of children with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

During our caregiver relief, a support worker cares for your child, allowing parents time to attend appointments, spend time with other family members, focus on work, or simply rest.

Our Autism services in the GTA are tailored to each family’s needs. Support may include structured activities, play-based learning, community outings, and assistance with daily routines.

Our goal is to ensure children feel comfortable, supported, and engaged while families gain valuable time to recharge.

Trusted caregiver relief & family support

Our respite care in the York Region and surrounding areas are designed to provide children with a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.

We focus on building positive relationships while encouraging social interaction, communication, and independence through structured and fun activities.

Children benefit from working with trained caregivers who understand Autism spectrum disorder, sensory needs, and individualized support strategies.

Activities may include creative play, skill-building games, community outings, and calming sensory experiences that promote comfort and confidence.
